What is Hale@home?
Hale@home is an innovative online learning programme that helps students prepare for the transition to Hale as a boarder. The boys undertake the programme in Year 6, prior to attending the School, and is designed to build their confidence and academic prospects, familiarise them with the technology used at the School, and introduce them to their fellow boarders; all while they are still at home.

Hale School has been awarded the status of Microsoft Showcase School, and recognised as a leader in the use of education techology in Australia. By leveraging the power of Microsoft's Office 365 platform, OneDrive, OneNote, and Skype, along with the use of tablet computers that feature stylus/pen and touch input along with traditional mouse and keyboard, boys are empowered to explore, learn, create, and actively contribute in the 21st century classroom. The Hale@home programme, led by Microsoft Innovative Educator awardees, provides an exciting opportunity for boys to receive academic support and instruction, to assist their for transition to boarding life at Hale School.
